A day of shows

10月16日水曜日。
この日はプーク人形劇場へ、フライヤーデザインを担当させて頂いた俳優伊藤哲哉さんのお芝居を見に行ってきました。
プークも行くのが初めてだった、わくわく。

Wednesday 16th Oct
I went to Puk Pupa Teatro (theatre of puppet, Puk) to see a play by Tetsuya Ito which I worked for the flyer design. Puk is also first time to visit.

伊藤さん一人でのお芝居。とても緊迫感があり、しかし伊藤さん個性的でなんか所々笑ってしまう要素があってすごい良かったです。フライヤー見ると、演奏してる犬たちがいるんですが実際に芸大の女の子たちが演奏します。「こりゃまさにフライヤー！一緒！」ってなって観客席で一人で喜んでました。

It's only him, the play was very tense but sometimes funny element I felt. There's four musician on the flyer, actually musical students played at the theatre like that. I was so happy and thought 'Wow it's the same!' with seeing the play.

かわいいと言えば

きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ　

のライブにも、伊藤さんのお芝居の後、行ってきちゃいました。
（実は去年ロンドンから帰国してからTVで見てて気になり、なんとなくライブに行って、その後もなんとなく友達とライブに行って、次にチケットとるならファンクラブじゃね？と友達に言われて恐る恐る入り、そして、ハマってしまった +_+ ちなみに今回三回目・・・；）なんかすごいエンターテイメントな一日だった！

(I was very interested in her on TV after coming back from London last year, I went to her shows twice, then my friend said 'we should be in her fan club for the next!' and I nervously became for that… now I'm so impressed,    omg) It was very entertainment day!

three days holiday

先週末は三連休。学校がある人の多くは運動会かな？
（私の小学校はいちょう祭という名の文化祭でした）
家でだらだらするかと思いきや、土曜は友達に誘われて鎌倉へ小さなコンサートへ行きました。

Last weekend, it was three days holiday in Japan. Normally it's Sports day and lots of schools have sports festivals. My friend took me to Yuigahama (Kamakura) for seeing a small concert. A friend of my friend belongs to a classic band, they played from Classic to Jazz/Modern/ Pops... was very wonderful!

古民家で。友達の友達が三人で組んでいてクラシックからモダン、ポップス、ジャズも演奏。

日曜はお世話になっているViolet and Claireへ。京都へ移動とのことでこの日は送別会でした。私は時間がなかったので会の前にちょこっと挨拶を。私はこのお店と店主のすみれさんにお会いして一年満たないのですが、委託も含めすごく印象に残っています。京都に行ってしまうのはとても寂しいけれどこれからの活動も楽しみにしています！

on Sunday I went to Violet and Claire to say goodbye as it is going to move to Kyoto. It was less than a year to met  this shop and the shop owner Sumire though, I was impressed anything here. it's very sad it's moving but I'll always look forward to updating from Violet and Claire.

来月末に開く個展の準備もしています。

ふるさとむらさんぽ

もうこんな時期になったのですね、金曜の夕方に犬の散歩に行ってきた。

駅に向かえば都会に近づき、渋谷へ約30分、横浜の港町へ約40分
都会と田舎と一緒に暮らせるこのエリアにずっと住んでいますが大好きです。

When we go to the nearest station - about 30 minutes going to Shibuya (Tokyo), and 40 minutes to Yokohama city. Rural and urban are shared in my home town, I love here so much!

Swansong × On the harmful effects of tobacco

夏頃に朗読会フライヤーのお仕事させて頂いたYUKIプロデュースによる俳優の伊藤哲哉さん、来週火曜と水曜に代々木にありますプーク人形劇場にて公演会を行います。今回もそのフライヤーデザインを担当させて頂きました。

作品はロシア文学のアントン・チェーホフ原作の「白鳥の歌」と「煙草の害について」生演奏ありのとても豪華なお芝居です。実は私は一番最初の始めたてのお稽古を拝見したのですが、未完ながらも面白かったです。あまり言うとネタバレになっちゃうから・・・見に行って直接感じるのが一番。お芝居や演劇が好きな方だけでなく、音楽も楽しめるそうなのでおすすめ。ロシア好きな方にもオススメ！私も16日にご招待頂いたので見に行きます◎楽しみ〜！


My recent work was for flyer design of a drama 'Swansong × On the Harmful Effects of Tobacco (by Anton Chekhov)' played by an actor Tetsuya Ito. The play is going to be held on 15 and 16th next week, I strongly recommend this includes live music performances and I'll go to see it on 16th :)

THE TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR 2013

遅くなりましたが、TABF私たちのブースに目を留めていただいたみなさまありがとうございました！会場では作家仲間にも会い、去年私が参加していたのを覚えていてくれたお客さまにもお会いでき楽しい嬉しい＾＾また来年も参加したいな。そのときはよろしくお願いします◎

one week holiday in London part2

前回の続き。
三日目はロンドンの友達MaeとAlecの結婚式でした。二人とも私がロンドンの語学学校に通ってた2009年頃からずっと友達で（Maeは私のクラスの先生）、式の招待状デザインを私に頼んでくれました。白鳥のカップルをモチーフに楽しくファンシーなデザインで私も気に入ってます。

It continues from the last one. Third day in London was my friends Mae and Alec's wedding. Mae was my teacher at the language school in London, we're very good friends since 2009! I'm really pleased to  design for their invitation cards. I quite like it having fun and fancy.

式の後はロンドンバスルートマスターがお出迎え。パーティー会場のパブまで送ってくれました。
Route master took us to the next place after the ceremony.

ドレスは語学学校時代同じクラスだった日本人のゆりこちゃん。ゆりこちゃんはファッションデザインをしていて今もロンドンに住んでいます。ゴールドがメインカラーでキレイだったな。

My Japanese friend Yuriko who was same class during the language school in 2009 and still lives in London. She designed Mae's dress with gold as main colour. Beautiful, isn't it?

食事の後はダンシングオールナイト（実際は深夜1時まででしたが）！
It was dance all through the night after the meal (it was finished at 1am actually) !







その後は観光＆友達に会うことにしていました。
友達何人かとLONDON ART BOOK FAIRヘ、初めてのフェアと初めてのWhite Chapel Gallery。三年半もいたのに！東京のとはまた雰囲気が違う。ちょっとお固く見えたかも。Sara Wicksさんのミニ作品（狼）をゲット。その後友達に誘われてBroadway Market School Yardへ。イラストレーターのKatrina Wightさんから素敵なカードを頂きました。毎週土曜日にマーケットを出しているようで犬をメインにしたとても繊細でポップなアイテムを販売してます。犬繋がりということで友達が私に紹介してくれました◎

I looked around London other days, firstly I went to LONDON ART BOOK FAIR with my friends. It was my first visiting to White Chapel Gallery, I know I was living in London for 3 years and a half though! I got small picture of a wolf by Sara Wicks. After that, one of my friends introduced an illustrator Katrina Wight who also draws dogs, she has a stall at Broadway Market School Yard to supply her lovely items every Saturday.

別の日にはV&Aに行きました。V&A Illustration Awards 2013、Club to Catwalk展、Memory Palace展で少し前のファッションとイラストを見てきました、それぞれまだ開催されてるのでロンドンにいる方はぜひ。

The other day, my other friend and I went to Victoria and Albert Museum to see some exhibitions - V&A Illustration Awards 2013, Club to Catwalk, Memory Palace, could see fashion history and recent illustrations. I recommend these shows are still ongoing.

帰国の前日までロンドンでの友達にあったりして忙しかったけど、みんなの近状やロンドンでないと話せない話ができて楽しかったです。ホストファミリーにも会えました。みんなありがとう。当分そんなすぐには行けないけれど、また行きたい。今度はもっと余裕持って他の地域に観光にも行けたらいいね！

Although I was madly busy to walk around and see my friends till the day before departure, such a nice time to talk with my friends! It was lovely to see my host family again! Many thanks for all. I can't come back soon but I'd love to. Hope I could visit other places in the UK too.

one week holiday in London Part1

水曜日ロンドンより帰国しました、一週間はあっという間で友達の結婚式をメインにロンドン仲間に会ったりでかなりバタバタ！後半は風邪引きながらたのしく過ごせました◎一週間ずっとロンドンにいるのも何なんで、二日目に日帰りでずっと行きたかったオックスフォードへ行ってきました。ロンドンはずっと雨だったけど丁度この日は晴れたので良い小旅行に。

I'm back on Wednesday from London! I had a very lovely time with attending my friends' wedding and seeing London friends. Although I got cold in last few days, I really enjoyed to stay in London again :) I decided going to Oxford on 2nd day. The weather was fine there but London was raining for a week.

オックスフォードでゲットしたもの。カタログばかりだけど。
Ashmolean Museumでベーコンとムーアの展示を真っ先に見ました、オックスフォードなのに。おじさんのカタログはオックスフォードが舞台のミステリードラマ「モース警部」の散歩ガイド。そして不思議の国のアリスのモチーフやハリーポッターの撮影にも使われたChrist Churchも。

These are all catalogues I got in Oxford. I went to Ashmolean Museum to see the exhibition of Bacon and Moore first (I know it doesn't look like Oxford!). Walking guide of Inspector Morse, Christ Church (famous by Alice in Wonderland and canteen on Harry Potter)...

オックスフォード調べてる時に誰か様のブログでGrand Cafeというところが老舗で〜そんなに高くもなく〜というのを見てぜひ行ってみよう！と行ってきました。High Streetに面していて高級感あるただ住まいでも本当に値段も手頃で良かったです、おすすめ。写真を撮るのを忘れた・・・というか行ったよ☆証拠写真な感じになるのが嫌だったんですが、まぁいいや。行って軽食食べたのは本当です。

I've checked Grand Cafe from someone's blog, which is located on High Street. That blog said the cafe is very old but not so expensive... I went to have a meal there, the place looks posh but good prices for foods! I just forgot to take a photo, actually I didn't want the photo of 'I came here!'... sorry. However it true I visited!

その後はロンドンへ戻り、BOWOWOW advent calendarでお世話になったNatashaとTolly（犬）に初対面。ずっとスカイプはしていたけど、The Canine Gamesでも会わなかった。ナイストゥミーチューでした◎

After that, I went back to London and met Natasha and her dog Tolly, who is an organiser of BOWOWOW. I did the advent calendar for last Christmas. We had Skype in few times but never met even at The Canine Games. It was great to meet them!
