『Chicory: A Colorful Tale』
ゲーム内に登場するイラストを一点担当しました。
「Fluffy Fluffy Sheep Sheep」というイラスト作品になります。
色が消えてしまった世界に、色を取り戻すために魔法の筆を使って進めていくゲームです。塗り絵アーティストのスター「Chicory」が行方不明になってしまい、その場に残された筆を使ってプレイヤーは冒険の旅に出ます。その先には世界の色を消していった暗い森との戦いがあり、それにより筆がパワーアップしたりChicoryとの絆が深まっていく・・・かわいらしくて楽しいアドベンチャーゲームです。
私の絵は、街の中にあるアートスクールでのクラスがあるのですが、その中のOld Classic Artとして出てきます。昔の絵画から、模写をするのではなく自分なりに描くというパートでその「昔の絵画」の一つ「Fluffy Fluffy Sheep Sheep」という作品が私の担当です。
ゲームは日本語対応をされておりませんが、アートが好きな方は楽しめる作品になっています。ゲーム作者のGreg Lobanovさんはカナダの方で、日本に来た時に私の作品を見て依頼してくださいました。多くの作家の中から、私も参加できて光栄です！
Chicory: A Colorful Tale is an adventure game which is released for PS4, PS5, and Steam(for PC) on 10 June 2021. I did one illustration ‘Fluffy Fluffy Sheep Sheep’ is appeared as Old Classic at the art class in the game.
The developer Greg Lobanov is based in Canada. He requested me this job as finding my works in Tokyo when he came to Japan. I’m so pleased to join this, lots of appreciation!
This game is mainly colouring for white world… the player goes to paint and fights dark forest after the super artist Chicory has gone. By following the chapters, the brush of player gets power up and the player connects the friendship with Chicory. It is enjoyable!
