前回の記事でニュースがありますと言っていたのは、東北関東大震災のためのアーティストによるチャリティー活動SMILE JAPANを結成したことです。
この活動はイラスト仲間の森下和子、西村夕貴と私によって作られました。
まず、第一回目のイベントはThe Backyard Marketへの出店で
今週の土曜に行われます。
なかなか時間が作れなかったのでまずは以前作られた私たちの商品を
売ることを決めました。

Planing/Inbox(12) launch party

 My illustration friends and I are now planing what is going to be happened this Saturday in London. I let all you know when we're ready.

イラストレーターの仲間と今週土曜ロンドンにて色々と何かを計画してます。

I went to Inbox(12) launch party on Saturday. I had a special time and got a copy of Tokyo zine! I was happy to meet Luisa who is an organiser for this.

土曜に参加したジンのInbox(12)のパーティーに行ってきました。
作品が掲載されている東京のカードセットも頂いたし
主催者のLuisaさんにも会うことができて本当に良かったです。

Pray for Japan

 Today I donated to Japan via Nihon-TV and Civic Force.

My help is quite tiny though hope it would support for land disaster...

you aren't alone - one of my friends felt because her family went to Hokkaido.
Everybody feel fear, also lots of animals but don't worry as you aren't alone.
This is the first page of doodle! second note (The previous one was finished,
will be uploaded soon).
Actually I post it to #newday_GEISAI which is by Mr. Takashi Murakami.
Hope it'll be had more power....like works are sold and the earning money goes
to the donation. I feel sorry my thought is weak for this...


日本テレビとCivic Forceのネットを通じて募金させて頂きました。
微力ですが少しだけでも災害地、被害を受けた方々への救いになりますように。
私の友達の一人が、彼女のご家族がその時北海道に行っていたことで
とても不安を感じていました。
みんな、動物も不安を感じる、でも大丈夫一人ではないよ・・・と
思いこの絵が描かれました。 doodle!の一冊目が実は終わったんですが、
こちらの絵は二冊の一ページ目です。
そして#newday_GEISAIに投稿します、芸術家の村上隆氏により企画されました。
本当は例えば投稿された作品が購入されるなどして、その集められたお金を
寄付できるなどの効果が起きれば、と願います。もっと私にも力があればと
無念に思います・・・

本当に少しでも出来る限り早い回復をお祈りしています。

Tsunami and the earthquake in Japan

 ３月１１日、日本東北、関東部を中心に発生した地震及び津波の影響ーーー

被災された方々へ心よりお見舞い申し上げます。


今朝、ホストマザーから日本で大きな地震が発生したと聞きすぐに実家に電話をしました。私の家族は無事ですが、父親は東京の仕事場にいる時間帯だったので帰宅に困難な状況になっています。
歩いてでも帰宅したいと言う人なので最終的にどういう手段を取ったかはわかりません。そのような状況ですので私は次の日、土曜日になるまで連絡を取るのが少し難しい状態になっています。
日本の皆様、皆様のご家族ともにご無事でありますように、そして被害が少しでも早く静まりますように心からお祈りします。

On 11th of March,
The influence by the earthquake and tsunami in the north east and east of Japan.

I've been shocked and my sympathies are with it.
I'm hoping for quick recovery at the land disaster.


This morning, I got the information from my host mother
then called to my house in Japan. My family is okay though,
my father was at his office when it was happened so it's very difficult
going back to the home. He really wants to go back even by walking when
something is happened so I'm not sure he chooses going back or staying at the office over night. Therefore it's difficult calling to them now, I have to wait tomorrow.
I wish the disaster would be calm down, and the shock wouldn't hurt many people in Japan.

I'm checking the situation in Japan on BBC.

Fanzine: Inbox (12) in London!

 

I got an email from Inbox (12) which has a zine party in London on 19th March.
(as I already announced at my news)
It looks Inbox (12) would go to cities that the participants drew for this.
I hope it would come to Tokyo.
My chosen place was Tokyo though, I'm going to attend on 19th as living in London.

私が制作したのは東京だけどロンドンにいるので１９日のパーティーに出席させて頂きます。

Ume Chicken Spaghetti

Here's the tiny sketch on doodle! note.
I really like to cook this, sometimes change the stuff instead of chicken.

Last week I helped private view of Marie's exhibition,
made salmon's maki sushi. It made me nervous a bit
(because I've made maki sushi before, but it was a long long time ago!)
however it was very fun. Hope I could help her.
The show introduced Japanese things along three colour Green, Pink, and Orange.
(Salmon sushi is for Orange. She served few things with the colours)
Soooo beautiful exhibition, also Japanese could learn our own culture more.

They Draw & Cookというアートなレシピのサイトにて
私の投稿した作品を見ることができます。
梅干しと鶏肉で和えたスパゲティー
鶏肉がダメな方は魚や他のものでアレンジしても
楽しいと思います。

先週はMarieちゃんというフランス人のアーティストさんの
お手伝いをしました。
テーマが日本の文化を紹介するもので
緑色、桃色と橙色にわけての展示でした。
そのお手伝いというのは橙色に合わせた鮭の巻き寿司を
プライベートビューにて提供するというもので
私はその寿司作りをさせて頂きました。
巻き寿司なんて作ったのはもう随分昔のこと・・・
ちょっと緊張しながらも意外と上手くできたかと思います。
展示は昔ながらの日本的なシンプルなデザインで
とても綺麗なレイアウトでした。
私たちもここから学べることはあると思います。
たのしかったー
