Bologna!

Paris!

I went to Bologna and Paris from 19th to 24th by myself, it was wonderful time!

Visited to Bologna Children's Book Fair, and walked around the town with my illustrator friend Alessandra...then we had lovely sweets.

In Paris, I went and see...
21st: Centre Pompidou, Marais District
22nd: Sightseeing by bus tour, walking along the river, saw exhibitions of Luis Vitton&Marc Jacobs and Babar at Les Arts Décoratifs
23rd: Montmartre Area - Cimetie`re de Montmartre, Moulin de la galette, Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, Halle Saint Pierre, Moulin Rouge. Then, Musée du Louvre, Eiffel Tower was lighting up in the night

My illustrator friend Saeko who is the one of organiser from Thinking of Homeland, she invited me to her house. Then her family served dinner for two nights, were Japanese and French! It was very lovely opportunity and I could know a lot of information about Paris. Thanks so much!


I'd like to see more place in Italy and want to go to Paris again!






19日から24日にかけてボローニャとパリに行ってきました。
初めて一人で旅したんですがすごくおもしろ楽しかったです！

ボローニャではまず絵本フェア、そしてイタリア人のイラスト仲間Alessandraと街観光。
かわいいお菓子も食べた

パリでは大御所を回りました。三日間のうち二日、御夕飯をThinking of Homelandでお世話になっている彩絵子さんのお家で和食＆フランス料理をご馳走させて頂いて色々なお話も聞けてすごくいい経験になりました。ありがとうございました！

おおまかに見た所リスト：
21日：ポンピドゥーとマレ地区
22日：バスツアーに乗ったあと、セーヌ川沿いを歩き、ルーブルの隣にある美術館「Les Arts Décoratifs」でヴィトン＆Marc Jacobs展とぞうのババール展を見ました。
23日：モンマルトル行って、墓地、ムーラン・ド・ラ・ギャレット、サクレ・クール寺院、Halle Saint Pierreというアウトサイダーアート系美術館、そしてムーラン・ルージュを外から拝見。そのあとルーブル美術館行って、最後にエッフェル塔のライトアップ見てパリ旅行は終わりました。他にも色々回ったんだけどもう書ききれないのでここでおしまい。

イタリアはもっと他の都市も回りたいのと、パリはまた遊びに行きたい！

明日、月曜から土曜までボローニャとパリに行ってきます！

写真は全く関係なくないんだけど、カフェの絵を描きました、そして早速そちらのサイトさまにアップされています。そのサイトとはーEast London Mornings：東ロンドンの素敵なカフェたちをみんなで楽しくシェアする楽しいプロジェクトです。私自身カフェ行くの大好きで、特にお洒落なとこ行くとスケッチングもすさささ〜なんですよね。うふふ、今私おしゃれ、みたいな。とか言ってそんな柄の人間ではないですよ。すでにTumblrにもアップしましたが、East London Morningsのサイトではこちらでご覧になれます。

I join a project and it's available to check my work at East London Mornings - this is to share nice cafes in East London, these works are made by lots of artists in the UK. I'm pleased to work with this lovely project and also I really like staying at cafes with my sketchbook. Example, I feel...I'm trendy...oh yes...   :( I'm not these kind of person. Drawing, eating, drawing, walking...

ご無沙汰してしまってました、最近は一気に何点か別々の作品を仕上げていたのですが
今回はこちらの絵を紹介します。
Tooting Zine Fairのあとにジン参加のお誘いがあり早速参加させて頂きました。
その企画とは、Karys Rhiannさんによる「First Love」
参加者は絵描きだけでなく、字書きさんや写真家さんもいます。

私は、私なりの「First Love」を表現しました。
人間同士の恋ではなく、恐らく初めてドキドキしたりあこがれを強く抱いたものだろうと思い「にこにこぷん」を選びました。もしかしたら私の世代の方々は共感してくれるかしら・・・してくれるかな？？

Recently I did few illustration though, I'd like to show one of them.
I was invited to a zine project by Karys Rhiann called 'First Love' after I joined to Tooting Zine Fair. There are many people...not only illustrators also writers, photographers...

I illustrated my own FIRST LOVE, which isn't love between people. The choice is from a children TV programme in Japan 'Okaasan to Issyo' (which can be checked here) and it had a puppet show 'Niko Niko Pun (or Niko Niko Poon)'. I was very very attracted by it when I was 3 years old, I always watched and felt heartbeat!

以前青葉台の成城石井で見つけて「あ、かわいいー素敵ーん？イギリスか？買おうかな、でももうすぐロンドンへ経つわー」ってなってこの前近所で見つけたビスケット。

This biscuits: I saw it at super market in Japan and wanted to buy as the package is lovely. But I could get it in London.

March...it's March! (everyone knows)
The first YAOMART in 2012 was opened today 4th March.
But...was bad weather with raining and cold.
But it was very fun!

マーチ、もうマーチですね、3月が始まりました。
そして今日4日日曜日にYAOMART、久しぶりに開店しましたよ。
あいにく、雨で・・・寒くて、でも楽しくできました。

Then I saw three doggies in Brick Lane.
I could take photos two of them...exciting!


このマーケットの日にはなんと犬を3匹も見ることができました
そのうち2匹ちゃんとパシャリましたよ。
満足。

 

 

These photos are from 1st March.
It was impressive lighting up at St. Paul.
I walked from Somerset House to Brick Lane which Google Map says taking 50min by foot, but I thought it was 30minutes. Anyway, I was in Oxford Circus before going to Somerset House so... it might be around 1hour and 10minutes in total I guess. But...it doesn't matter.

Why I went to Brick lane, was for my friend Nozomi Hoshikawa who joined today's YAOMART.
It made me wanna go to circus, lovely exhibition!


先週撮った写真を一部紹介。
両方とも3月1日のなのですが、
ライトアップが印象的だったSt. Paul大聖堂
（実はこの日Somerset HouseからBrick Laneまで歩きました。
今ググったら50分ってあったんだけど・・・そんなに歩いたっけ？
でも実際はSomerset Houseの前にOxford Circusにいたからプラス
20〜30分かと。んまぁいいやどうでもいいや）

今度はなぜBrick Laneかというと
今回YAOMARTにも参加してくれた星川のぞみちゃんの展示があったからなのでした。
サーカス、行きたい
と思わせるかわいい展示会でした。
