I went to this exhibition in London last December,
they gave me the book as a gift.
What lovely dogs, they inspire me.

I bought Taking Heads 77 and The Fiery Furnaces' EP two weeks ago.
EP, I really wanted. Of course I went to HMV and Rough Trade etc,
but no CD there. Finally I used Amazon then got it.
The Fiery Furnaces is the one of my favourite bands since I liked Franz Ferdinand.
The music is a bit weird however very attractive for me.

I have Talking Heads' Once In A Lifetime though, didn't have 77.
Asher really like Psycho Killer so I was influenced by him.
It's his parents' generation :)

画像のことなんですが、二週間前に
Talking Headsの77と、The Fiery FurnacesのEPを購入しました。
EPは前からずっと欲しくてHMV行っても、Rough Trade行っても
どこのCD屋さん行っても見つからなかった。
最終的にアマゾンさんにお願いしました。
The Fiery FurnacesはFranz Ferdinandが好きだった頃くらいから
好きになりました。ちょっとおかしなメロディーだけど大好きです。

Once In A Lifetimeは持ってるけど、77は持っていなかったんだ。
AsherがPsycho Killer好きで影響されて買ってしまいました。
彼の両親の世代だね。

This is the copy of the book which I did illustration for the cover.
I haven't seen it at book shop, so should go...

Umm, nice!

We can see my name on the back (Can you see?).
I felt very happy when I saw it.

And then I got a Japanese magazine 'illustration'.
Actually people who live in London can't buy it because the book shop
don't accept so I asked to order (the shop is in Mitsukoshi at Piccadilly Circus).
I haven't read for two years, maybe?
The works by Mr. Mizumaru Anzai（安西水丸） are very lovely!

初めて仕事した本の表紙、そのコピー本が届きました。
裏表紙に私の名前があるんですが（この写真見えるかな？）
見たときはやっぱりとても嬉しかった。
本屋に並んでいるはずなので行かなきゃ。

そして日本でおなじみイラストレーションですが
こちらにある本屋ではどこにも置いていません。
なので ピカデリーサーカスの三越にある本屋さんで
注文させて頂きました。
恐らく二年間くらい読んでいないと思う。
安西水丸さん特集だったんですがなんとも、良いっすね・・・！
おまけの冊子まで付いていて、素敵でした。

The Museum of Everything

 

I went there!

Because The Exhibition ♯3 is closing today.
The show was that were collection of old photos, stuffed animals,
dolls, circus...etc, organised by sir Peter Blake.
It was quite attractive, coz I'm very interested in weird things.
I saw a photo which two girls and their back is together,
they're... Hilton, and on a old film Freaks that I haven't watched yet.
I really want to see this film, someday... would be as revival, hopefully!!

The Museum of Everything is near from Primrose Hill,
my friend and I didn't go at this time though,
we enjoyed seeing dogs at Regents Park Road :)

土曜日にThe Museum of Everythingに行ってきた。
Peter Blakeによって主催された動物の剥製や
昔の人形、写真などによる少し不気味な展示会で
非常に魅了されました。
とにかく今日までということで行ってきました。
写真の中にヒルトン姉妹という背中がくっついた
二人の女性を発見しました。
昔の映画でFreaks（風変わりなという意味もあるけど
ここでは奇形の体を持った人達ということ）というのが
あるんですが、この映画で出てました。
いつか、絶対見たいんですこの映画。
リバイバル上映、どこかでやってくんないかな。


んでThe Museum of Everything はちょっと北ロンドン
Primrose Hill のすぐ近くで、今日はなんか立ち寄らなかったけど
Regents Park Roadにてたくさん犬見てきました。
毛短くしちゃってるけどアフガンが三枚目の写真。

Last week she had her birthday party with disco...
There was lots of energy, I stayed a little bit!
My present for her was a badge, and marble painting goods
with of course birthday card, it's quite girlish!

Why did I talk about it? because...

This is artists' directory, and I'm here.

Anyway, Yoko and I chose a gallery which we're going to have a show.
The place is Aoyama-Iccyoume（青山一丁目）,
from 28 June to 4 July (um maybe, I have to check it again!).
We? or I are going to make a zine, that I really wanted.
But I have no skill for binding books, so.... well!!!
It's fun to organise and make!!



Lastly, this week I got surprising!!
I received an email from an illustration artist who is...
Morteza Zahedi!!
He came to my website through other website, then emailed me.
It was really good opportunity, we're still chatting using email.
Yeah he has been put on a Japanese magazine 'Illustration',
I remembered and maybe have it (but at my house in Japan)!
He gave me pretty picture that was attached.

今日は先週のことと今週のこと一気にかいちゃってます
まず上から

私のベッドに隠れたAsherくんと、
先週誕生日で家をディスコ化したAnna。おめでとう〜〜
ブローチとマーブル作れるグッズと誕生日カード（写真）
が私からのプレゼントでした。

あと、Flickrのdoodle!に画像追加しました。
今週描いたものです
ぜひぜひぜひ見てください。


そして昨日、木曜日に一冊の雑誌が届きました。
Aesthetica
アートの雑誌です。
アーティスト欄に載らせて頂きました。


６月に東京でようちん（三浦瑶子ちゃんの呼び名） とする
展示は今のところ一応順調です。
場所が青山一丁目にあります、小さなギャラリー。
期間が６月２８日から７月多分４日まで。
ちゃんと確認しないと

このときにジン、ジンでいいのかしら
zine!　です。小さな手作りの本を作ります。
実はずっと作ってみたかったんです。
本作りの知識はないけれど
今から色々と計画たてたり試しに作ったりして
めっちゃ楽しいです。


最後の画像なんですが、
その今週一件のメールが・・・
それはMorteza Zahendiさん、イランの絵本作家、イラストレーターです。
他の方のサイトから私のサイトにたどり着いたようで
挨拶のメールを私にしてくれたのです。
この繊細で素敵な画像はそのときに添付されていた作品で
彼のサイトも見ながら・・・どこかで見たことあるぞもしや！
雑誌のイラストレーションに載っていたのでは！と思い、
早速聞いてみたら、そうだよ〜インタビューも見てくれた？？と！
やっぱり！
恐らく持っていると思います、実家に・・あるんですが＾＾；
そんなことがありました、いやまだ今も
メールでお話中で
今朝もお返事頂いたので夜お返しします。
本当にびっくりしました。
